Interesting tidbit...

Tomorrow at two minutes and three seconds after 1:00 in the morning, the time and date will be 01:02:03 04/05/06.That won't ever happen again. Cool, huh?

In fact, at 12:34 on May 6, 2007 it will be: 12:34 5/6/7

Cool. That second one will happen twice if you don't use military time. I wonder if any babies will be born at that time.

Duh, I wish I could erase. The first will happen twice if you don't use military time too. Sometimes I'm brilliant.

"non", You can erase, just click on the trash can :) but there is an hour and a half between comments so you most likely had already been found out :)

yeah, i heard it on the radio and then got at least 3 emails about it...they all make the same claim about it happening in the morning, but it happened at 1:02:03 pm too...and,Lori, Lisa is right, your comment had already been seen, but i didn't see his second part...or maybe he added it later :) and thought you were talking about the first anyways, so i didn't catch your goof at all- don't sweat it (see I deleted my first comment so i could edit it and make it sound a little less stupid!)

Dang, I just missed it! Maybe I'll catch it this afternoon and take a picture or something...

Tim-your blog clock is way off. It's 1:29 AM central right now.

Tonya, (nice try). LOL...hahahahahhhaaa..aaa..aa.a....

ok, that was mean but you set yourself up for that :) Besides everyone knows your not stupid.

i said i wanted to sound less stupid, not necessarily aiming for intelligent there...and thus proving whatever point it was that i was trying to make

If you want to use the natural progression of time steps, the correct occurrance of the moment in time where the numbers increase from 1 to 6 would be 1 second after the 2nd minute of the 3:00 am hour on the 4th day of May, 2006. Hence, the true 01:02:03 04/05/06.

lisa said...

uh...whoever that was 04/05/06 is April 5, 2006. And doesn't the 20 in 2006 throw it all off?

To Lisa, I quote myself: "...the natural progression of time steps..." to again prove my point. 04/05/06 is the 4th day of the 5th month of the 6th year of the current millenium. The 20 in 2006 only throws my observation off it if throws off Tim's original "Interesting Tidbit."

Canadians reverse the order of the day and month when writing the date. For instance, Today would be 6-4-2006 instead of the 4-6-2006 that we americans are used to seeing. It kind of makes since: day-month-year instead of month-day -year.

Oh anonymous one...who are you?

holy cow - 17 (now 18) comments on a goofy email i got just to make sure I put something up on tuesday...

you know most of the world- except we American's who are backwards in most things- write the date that way...military too- day-month-year and Murph still does- everything is dated 06APR2006 Military doesn't do dashes either so it would be 06052006 which looks an awful lot like some kind of serial number...so what do you make of that?oh, and this makes 19

Kel said...

Yeah, why do american's have to be so "different"...it would be much easier if we just conformend. I mean, the metric system makes so much sense! And the date, it sounds nicer when you say 5th of April rather than April 5th...so those of use who are outside of American, have to wait until the 4th of May.

Oh, and I just made this the 20th comment.

y'all crack me up ;)

I just wanted to break the 20 mark...
